[update 2] “Relentless Decency” staffs up with competence, especially at the top

I was able to watch the simultaneous coverage of the Biden announcement of his Healthcare team and DJT at his so-called Vaccine Summit (where, it should be noted, the two makers of the vaccine did not even show up). The contrast could not have been starker. On one side of the screen was the president-elect who introduced the leaders of his health care team that will oversee the logistical effort of getting as many as 100 million Americans vaccinated against Covid-19. On the other side, a site to which we have become accustomed, was the current president who spoke meanderingly, telling lies and espousing misinformation about the vaccine but mostly about the election he continues to lose every time he tries to contest it, starting on November 3rd and continuing to this day.

What a joy it was to see real competence that will be moving back into the White House on January 20!

I worked on Capitol Hill and then lobbied for IBM before they made me an IT geek. Redundant? I’m into politics. Now and then, I’ll throw something else in.
